Donations for The Swindon Hub - let's fix their lift!

The Swindon Hub is a fantastic 'community support' resource right in the heart of central Swindon.  Open 5 days a week, it's a lovely welcoming and warm space, where people from all walks of life, can go to meet or make friends, read, play games. 

The towns homeless, refugees or those experiencing poverty can get a free drink and some food from their cafe and find out what resources there are available to them. 

The cafe is also open to the public, selling hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and snacks at very reasonable prices.  The money made from the cafe goes back into keeping the hub open.  It really is a wonderful place, doing so much good in the town, I encourage everyone to go and pay them a visit.

Unfortunately, the lift to the first floor and toilets is currently broken.  The Hub are raising money to get it fixed, but as you can imagine this is costly.  Any events run in the open room upstairs are out of bounds to The Hub's disabled guests, not to mention there is no accessible toilet provision for them to use.

If you are able to spare some money to donate via this fundraiser (and get your donation 100% matched by The Z Zurich Foundation), or if you can grab a hot drink or bite to eat from the cafe, it really would be truly appreciated.

The Hub is located along The Parade, in the unit where River Island used to be.
