Celebrate World Children's Day With UNICEF

, UNICEF USA

Children continue to face rising poverty, conflict, climate shocks, and drastic funding cuts for life-saving humanitarian programs. More than 213 million children in 146 counties and territories require humanitarian assistance. These changes are making it harder for them to access the most basic services — education, healthcare, protection, and safe spaces to grow and thrive.

World Children’s Day is celebrated annually on November 20th to advocate and raise awareness for the most pressing issues facing children globally. Children’s rights and wellbeing require commitment and action by adults to ensure that regardless of their background or circumstance, they have the tools to survive, thrive, and shape their own future.

This World Children’s Day, join UNICEF in supporting children’s rights and wellbeing:

• $1 could provide a child with safe water for two months
• $5 could provide 7 children with a story book
• $10 could provide 14 children with micronutrient powder for two months
• $20 could fully vaccinate 15 children from measles

Children are not just shaped by the world; they are agents of change and shape it. Let’s create a future where all children are heard.
