As part of Climate Month in September, ZGV is launching the ‘Make A Wave’ 30-day Challenge right here in Zurich – with a splash!
This year, ZGV Zürich is joining Zurich Cover-More’s Freely team to raise funds for SurfAid and scale our collective ZGV impact.
Every franc you donate or raise will be matched by the Z Zurich Foundation, doubling your impact – so we count on you!
Why it matters?
SurfAid works with vulnerable communities in Indonesia to deliver sustainable access to basic healthcare, clean water, sanitation and food security.
These regions are some of the most geographically and culturally isolated in Indonesia, with limited access to the basics that many of us take for granted. Together, we can help make a tangible difference for people and families in these communities.
Take action!
1. Join the 30-day challenge: Commit to getting active. Whether you paddle, swim, run, cycle, walk (or any wellbeing-related activity), commit to getting active for 30-days and raise funds from family & friends for completing the challenge.
2. Donate: When you donate, you give families in remote communities a hand up, rather than a handout. Every franc goes toward life-changing support — and will be matched by the Z Zurich Foundation.
3. Bonus: If the entire ZGV team manages to cover every day of September, the ZGV LT will make an extra donation for reaching the collective goal!
Our goal is to raise a total of CHF 10,000 (including Foundation matching) to help SurfAid build healthier, more resilient communities.
