At The Children’s Centre, we turn difficult life experiences into brighter futures. Our professional team use their extensive experience and training to build emotional safety and trust with children, young people and their families. From this place, a young person can face something they want to avoid, or fear and then begin to understand what’s happening. These challenging experiences can be linked to situations that include bullying, developmental disability, poverty, domestic abuse, substance misuse, criminality, breakdown in family relationships for instance through divorce, separation or bereavement.
Our services directly address behavioural, learning or emotional wellbeing needs, which are often the result of these experiences. Our brilliant professional team use their extensive experience and training to build emotional safety and trust. From this place, a young person can face something they want to avoid, or fear and then begin to understand what’s happening.
